An amazing art by the nature mother is Kodaikanal. That is why it is called as “Queen of hills”. Kodaikanal is based on Palani hills. It is located in Dindigul district of Tamil nadu, India. 2133 meters height from the sea level, more than enough to chill our hearts.

How to reach:
By Train: Many tourists take the rail route and get down at Kodai Road, which is about 100 kilometres away from the main town. From here, you can get a taxi. Being the only mode of transportation from Kodai Road to Kodaikanal, taxi rates are not all that negotiable. Some people get down at Dindigul Junction Railway Station too.
By Bus:Regular bus services are available from the cities of Chennai, Coimbatore, Pondicherry, Madurai and many more.
By Air: The airport nearest to Kodaikanal is Madurai, about 120 kilometres away. Others in line include the Trichy airport and the Coimbatore airport, 150 kilometres and 175 kilometres away, respectively. From the airport, you can easily get a bus to Kodaikanal.
By Car or Van: By Road trip, one can reach kodaikanal by Batlagundu route which is preferable and with good road conditions. Through Palani can reach the hill town but the routes are adventurous. Other routes by the villages of Thandikudi, Pannaikadu, etc.
